Is Botox right for you?
You laugh. You frown. You concentrate. And over time, those expressions leave their mark upon your face. Smooth out those lines with Botox® Cosmetic, a simple, non-surgical procedure that can dramatically reduce even your toughest wrinkle within days. One ten-minute treatment – a few tiny injections – relaxes the muscles in your face that cause lines to form. And keeps them relaxed for months. Botox Cosmetic has been widely tested and is approved by the FDA.

How Does it Work?
Botox Cosmetic is a naturally occurring, purified protein. When injected in tiny amounts into muscles, it allows them to relax. Botox has been used for years to treat medical problems such as muscle spasms of the face and neck, migraine headaches and double vision. Most recently, the FDA approved its use for treatment of certain unsightly facial creases.
Botox relaxes the muscles naturally. Within a few days, and for months afterwards, the facial creases that can make you look tense or aged have visibly smoothed. Because Botox Cosmetic doesn't involve any surgical incisions, you can return to full activities immediately.
Is it painful?
The amount of Botox injected at each location is miniscule, so discomfort is minimal. Various methods numb the treatment area, including topical anesthetic creams and ice. Most patients compare the sensation to a mild bug bite, and are usually surprised at how little discomfort they experience.
Is it expensive?
Compared to other cosmetic surgeries, Botox is amazingly affordable. Botox for Hyperhidrosis
Botox can also be used to treat excessive underarm sweating. Through injections of Botox into the underarms, patients see a significant decrease in the amount of sweating.
A topical numbing medication can be applied prior to treatment. A special test is then performed to determine the areas of the underarms that produce the most perspiration. The Botox is then injected into these areas.
Patients are able to return to full activities immediately following treatment. Best of all, after just one treatment in office, patients notice results lasting up to six months!
