Isotretinoin

Dr. Badia is one of the only dermatologists in the area to offer this treatment option for patients with severe acne or acne that has not responded to other treatments. Fraxel Laser

This laser treatment works great to reduce pitted scarring from acne.

Facials

Facial will give you a light exfoliation and a deep cleaning of the skin.

Chemical Peels

Peels are a heavier exfoliation that helps remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin.

Myth #1: Eating Chocolate makes you breakout.

Fact: Nothing you eat causes acne. Some may think that eating oily or greasy foods causes acne but this is simply not true. Acne is caused when dead skin cells stick together, fall into the pore, plug the gland, collect the oil that your skin naturally produces. Then Bacteria sets in and you get a pimple.

Myth #2: Blackheads are a sign that you are not washing your face enough.

Blackheads are not caused by a buildup of dirt. Rather, pores become dilated and cellular debris builds up. When air hits that cellular debris they oxidize and become black.
